Welcome to Meridian + Myrrh Acupuncture and Wellness, PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website (MeridianAndMyrrh.com) and your interaction with our services. By accessing the Site or booking services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Scope of Services

We provide acupuncture and related East Asian medicine therapies, including herbal medicine, cupping, gua sha, pediatric care, and other wellness services. All services are provided by licensed practitioners in accordance with Illinois law.

2. Patient Responsibilities

Consult Your Physician: Acupuncture is intended to complement, not replace, primary medical care. Patients are encouraged to consult their physician if uncertain whether acupuncture is appropriate.
Accurate Information: Patients agree to provide accurate health and personal information for safe and effective care.
Conduct: We maintain a safe, professional environment. Inappropriate, abusive, or sexual behavior will not be tolerated and will result in immediate termination of services.

3. Fees, Insurance & Cancellations

Fees: Service fees are posted on the Site and may be updated periodically.
Insurance: We are in-network with certain insurers (e.g., BCBSIL PPO). Not all plans cover acupuncture. Verification of benefits is not a guarantee of payment. Patients are financially responsible for all charges not covered by insurance.
Cancellations: At least 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations or missed appointments may result in a cancellation fee.

4. Health & Medical Disclaimers

Informational Use Only: Content on the Site is for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical advice.
No Emergency Care: Our services and website are not intended for medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 immediately.
Risk Assumption: By using our services, you acknowledge and accept any risks associated with acupuncture or related treatments to the extent allowed by law.

Return and Refund Policy

At Meridian + Myrrh Acupuncture and Wellness, PLLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), we are committed to providing the highest quality of care and wellness products. Please read our return and refund policy carefully, as it outlines the terms that apply to services and products purchased through our clinic.

1. Services (Acupuncture & Wellness Treatments)

Completed Services: Fees for services that have already been rendered (such as acupuncture treatments) are non-refundable.
Cancellations: Appointments canceled with at least 24 hours’ notice will not incur a fee. Appointments canceled less than 24 hours before the scheduled time, or “no-shows,” may be charged a cancellation fee, as outlined in our Clinic Policies.

2. Products (Herbal Formulas, Supplements, Toplicals/Liniments, and Wellness Items)

Due to the sensitive nature of our products, including herbal formulas, dietary supplements, and wellness items, we are unable to accept returns or exchanges once products have left our office. This policy is necessary to protect the integrity, safety, and quality of the products, in compliance with health and safety regulations.

Defective or Incorrect Items: If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, or incorrect, please notify us within 7 days of purchase. We will provide a replacement or, if a replacement is not available, issue a refund.
Custom or Special Orders: Custom herbal prescriptions and special-order items are non-refundable and non-returnable.

3. Digital or Educational Materials

If digital or educational resources are offered (such as workshops, guides, or classes), these are non-refundable once purchased or accessed, unless otherwise stated at the time of purchase.

4. Compliance with Illinois Law

This Return and Refund Policy complies with Illinois consumer protection and health safety laws. Nothing in this policy is intended to waive rights you may have under applicable state or federal law.
