Meridian Restorative Sessions

Modern wellness technologies are increasingly being integrated alongside acupuncture and Reiki to support relaxation, recovery, circulation, and nervous system regulation. At Meridian + Myrrh Acupuncture and Wellness, our Meridian Restorative Sessions incorporate two wellness technologies that many patients find deeply calming and restorative: the Clearlight CORE Tower and the HealthyLine TAO Series PEMF InfraMat Pro.

These therapies are used alongside acupuncture or Reiki to create a restorative wellness experience focused on supporting the body’s natural recovery processes.

The Clearlight CORE Tower is a red light and near infrared photobiomodulation device designed to deliver therapeutic wavelengths of light to the body. Clearlight utilizes wavelengths in the approximately 650nm red light range and 850nm near infrared range. 

Red light primarily interacts with more superficial tissues, while near infrared light penetrates more deeply into muscles and other tissues. Photobiomodulation research has focused heavily on how these wavelengths interact with mitochondria, often referred to as the “powerhouses” of cells. Research suggests these wavelengths may support cellular energy production through ATP generation. 

The Clearlight system also utilizes what the company calls “Variable Optics™” technology, designed to provide varying light angles and improve light distribution and penetration.

HealthyLine’s TAO series incorporates PEMF frequencies generally ranging from approximately 1–30 Hz depending on settings and model configuration. 

The mats also utilize far infrared heat in the approximately 5-14 μm range and include layers containing natural gemstones such as amethyst, tourmaline, and obsidian. 

PEMF therapy exposes the body to low-frequency pulsed electromagnetic fields. Research into PEMF has explored its potential effects on circulation, tissue recovery, relaxation, and cellular signaling.
